January 2019 Favourites | Zoe Major

So the first month of 2019 is already over and I am sure most of us are glad of that! So with another month passing comes a whole new bunch of monthly favourites. A round up of products I have been particularly impressed with in the last month. Let's jump right in...

Aloe Vera Cream Cleanser from The Body Shop // £8.50
I bought this as a substitute for the cream cleansing side of the PIXI Double Cleanse. I really have enjoyed this product. It is great for sensitive skin as it is so simple in formula and also super gentle on the skin. I have been using this as my second cleanse most nights and my skin has been loving it. It leaves it feeling very soothed and calm. I just wanted something that was going to leave my skin clean but not thrown off balance and this does that perfectly.

Himalayan Charcoal Face Wash from The Body Shop // £9.50
When I am not using the Aloe cream cleanser I am using the charcoal face wash. This is great. I love it for when my skin needs something extra- like if it feels a bit oily or spotty, this will help to sort it right out. I also have just been enjoying switching this and the aloe night about so I get the soothing properties of the aloe but also the benefits of the more purifying charcoal. I have written a full, detailed blog post on this, which you can read here. But basically, it is great, I love it, you should buy it.

Makeup Revolution Hylaronic Fix Setting Spray // £6
I bought this after finding their Oil Control setting spray slightly too drying on my dehydrated skin (it is also oily hence why I bought the oil control version originally) and it has been working really well. I love how it makes my skin feel, it definately gives it that extra little boost of hydration which means my makeup looks fresher and sits nicer for longer. I really like it and for £6 think it is a total bargain!

Eyelash Curler // £3.50
I have recently started curling my eyelashes again and I have to say I have been enjoying this new little step in my routine. I also love the effect of it as it definitely helps my lashes appear more dramatic and curled. I picked up a curler from Superdrug, simply because it was half price making it a grand total of about £3 so thought I may as well give it a go! I use to curl my lashes years and years ago and I am not entirely sure why I stopped but I can definitely say I am glad I have started again!
