The Body Shop's Best Products

The Body Shop tend to be known for their old classics- such as White Musk, Vitamin E cream and Hemp Hand cream, but recently they have released some amazing products I recommend you check out. Working at The Body Shop gives me the opportunity to give everything a good try and I have narrowed it down to my favourite products they have to offer.

First up...

Drops of Sun // £12
This is by far one of my favourite products ever. Drops of Sun is perfect for adding the most natural, beautiful glow to your skin. Whether you fake tan or have been away in the sun, Drops of Sun is perfect for adjusting the shade of your foundation to suit your skin tone perfectly. As as much or as little as you need to create your perfect glow! You can also add a couple drops in to your moisturiser to give your skin that subtle healthy glow. Drops of Sun has a great olive undertone and never looks orange or uneven on the skin. It is amazing even for fake tan newbies (me) as it is so easy to use and impossible to go wrong with!

Almond Milk & Honey Shower Cream // £5

I can not tell you how long I have been looking for a sulphate free shower gel and then one pops up right under my nose! Almond Milk and Honey shower cream is a product I will always, always purchase. The beautiful creamy texture is so nourishing and soothing on your skin. As it is sulphate free it doesn't really lather up, so feels as if you are applying a lotion in the shower- which feels amazing on the skin! It is specifically designed for a dry sensitive skin type, too. I just love that it is sulphate free! The main reason I will continue to repurchase again and again. It smells lovely too- a fresh, subtle scent that is very unoffensive.

Spa Of The World Grape Seed Scrub // £22

If you want a luxurious, firming, toning and smoothing scrub look no further than the French Grape Seed Scrub from The Body Shop. This refining sugar scrub leaves my skin feeling smooth and subtle. It is super abrasive and despite being a sugar scrub, does not melt away into nothing due to the heat of the shower. I love using this before a night out as it gets my legs looking really smooth and even. It is also great to use before fake tan as it does an amazing job of removing any dead skin cells that could cause tan go to patchy. What makes this different for me to any other scrub is I really do see a difference in the appearance of my skin after using it. My skin is noticeably more smooth and looks really even, too.

Spa of The World Lime Firming Oil // £18

A great little partner to the Grape Seed Scrub, the Lime Firming oil is what I like to follow up with. This oil has the most beautiful texture- It is super hydrating on the skin, yet sinks in really quickly and does not feel heavy or greasy. I often use this as a base before applying my scrub to further the toning and firming properties of the products and it works a dream! Plus leaves my skin feeling extra soft and hydrated!

Skin Defence SPF 50 // £16

Like sulphate free shower gel, I was also on a never ending hunt for a lightweight, non greasy SPF to suit my oily skin. And tuh-duh! Here we have The Body Shop's Skin Defence. The most beautiful, truly invisible SPF for the face. It is SPF 50 broad spectrum and offers what The Body Shop describe as a "cream to water" consistency. I have never loved an SPF more! I was so delighted when I applied this and it instantly disappeared on my skin, no film, no residue- nothing. It is so lightweight that it is perfect for oily skin! Finally.
