Barry M Fall In Love Palette REVIEW

The ever so popular warm eyeshadow trend seems to finally be making its way into drugstores. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Fall In Love Palette from Barry M in my local Superdrug store. The Fall in Love palette features 10 completely matte, warm toned shadows.

The colour selection in the Barry M Fall in Love palette is beautiful. The quad of colours in the middle of the palette are by far the main reason I purchased this. They are beautiful, warm toned shadows that we are seeing everywhere right now from higher end brands, hence why I was so surprised to see a palette like this at such an affordable price range.

Not going to lie though- I was hesitant. Matte eyeshadows from the drugstore tend to be, well.. Crap. I instantly had visions of a powdery, wishy-washy mess.

However, I found myself being seriously impressed by these shadows! The pigmentation is so much more vivid and bold than I had expected, yet they blend and apply very smooth and even. I have actually caught myself going overboard and having to buff away colour to avoid a bright orange eye on more than one occasion.

I think this palette has a really great selection of shades. There is a lot of shades to blend in the crease to hep to create a really well blended, flawless look. Something you do not tend to find in a drugstore palette! The actual shadows are very soft and buttery yet I have never had an issues with fall out.

If you are looking for an affordable, warm toned, matte palette I would 100% recommend picking up the Fall in Love palette from Barry M. At only £6.49 it is a great price for someone who is maybe just starting to experiment with warm tones or of course, if you just want to add another amazing palette to your collection!

  1. This palette looks quite nice! I'm not the biggest fan of orangey-red tones imply because they're quite intimidating to use, but I love how some people make them work really well! (Just not me hahah). Cute and simple packaging too!
