The Back Ups

I think we all have those products that we simply cannot live without, whether you're massively into beauty or not. The thought of said product running out mid use and not having another one to hand, makes us instantly panic. I have a few of those to share with you today. The products I must have a least one back up of, ready to go as soon as the current one runs out, at all times. God forbid if any of these were ever discontinued *shudders*.

A good few of these are new discoveries as well! Which is quite exciting to see that I have discovered a whole bunch of awesome new products.

Hydraluron by Indeed Labs (£25). DUH. Obviously! I totally love this stuff and do not see myself using any other serum any time soon. This one is easy to tell when you're running low but I always have a new tube ready to go in my skincare stash. Hydraluron is the ultimate, fuss free serum for a serious boost of hydration. Say hello to plump, hydrated skin as soon as you start using this.

Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner (£17.95) My strongest glycolic acid toner (it contains 2% glycolic acid). One for seriously spotty, groggy skin days. A total life saver. Leaves the skin fresh, smooth and exfoliated. Despite being slightly stronger, it never dries out my skin or causes any irritation at all.
It only has 4 ingredients: water, aloe juice, pink grapefruit extract and glycolic acid. So it is really well balanced out to stop it from being too astringent on the skin.

Bioderma (£10.20 for 250ml)
Ah, good old Bioderma. I will never stray from the micellar water that started it all. I love the gentle but effective formulation that easily sweeps away all traces of makeup. I have, more than once, used this to remove all my makeup (not something I do a lot, don't worry) and it effectively removed everything, including eye makeup, without causing my skin to get irritated in the slightest. I use it in the morning mostly, after I do a morning cleanse, around my eyes as I find it so cooling and refreshing (and it just feels like water over the eyes, no stinging!)

Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil in Blonde-Shell (£8) Not only is this a great colour match for blondes (Yay!) it is an awesome pencil in general. The teeny-tiny nib allows you to really define the brows by creating tiny, hair like strokes, which looks really natural. But you can also build it up and create a far stronger brow as well. It is a really versatile product! The spoolie on the other end is also super handy.

No.7 Instant Radiance Under Eye Concealer (£13.50) Easily the best concealer I have ever used for under my eyes. I have quite dehydrated under-eyes and despite my best attempt to keep them hydrated, most concealers still cake up under there and end up looking awful. Not this one though! This formula is so creamy and blendable. It glides over the skin and instantly brightens my whole complexion. I use this under my eyes and bring it down into a triangle shape, so it highlights as well as conceals. It never looks cakey or dry on my skin, it sits in place perfectly all day, whilst giving great coverage. I love it!

Dove Oxygen and Moisture Shampoo (£5.99) and Root Spray (£6.99) My new holy grail hair products! I say "new", even though I never had any before. I never found anything that worked in my fine, limp hair until this range. It is absolutely fantastic! The Moisture and Oxgyen shampoo and conditioner (I only listed the shampoo as a back up, as I use far more shampoo and haven't felt the need to repurchase the conditioner yet but I will!) leave my hair feeling so light and airy, with loads of volume and bounce. It is incredible. The Root Spray adds even more volume to the hair, whilst giving it some grip, making it super easy to style!

KORRES Peony Pink Nail Polish (£6) I know it may seem silly to repurchase a nail polish, especially when I have so many but I just fell head over heels for this colour that I instantly when online and bought a back up. It is the most perfect, sheer, baby pink polish. It isn't streaky or difficult to work with at all, the final result it always smooth and even.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate (£18)* I use this as my "base" product before applying eye cream. Think of it as a serum, specifically for under and around the eyes. I love it. It really smooths the skin and adds moisture. It also helps to de-puff and cool the under eye area. I currently use it with Clinique All About Eyes eye cream but I will be trying out other eye creams but always use this before hand.

Do you have any products you always have a back up of? Let me know what they are in the comments below!

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed it!
